1 Facilities Use Agreement - Paul Harris presented a written recommendation (attached). After discussion a vote was called on the following:  
a) The church will not rent out our facilities to outside groups due to the fact it would generate income and could endanger our not-for-profit status.  
b) A parish member must sponsor events held at the church and a contract will be completed and meet established criteria.  
c) The parish member (sponsor) must be in attendance for the duration of the event. According to Diocesan policy no hard liquor is allowed.   
d) These special events must serve at least one of our 4 core values – Worship, Education, Outreach, or Fellowship.  

Beth Bodkin made the motion that the Jr. Warden’s recommendations be accepted as presented.  Barnett Carthey gave the second; the vote was unanimous.

Reports

The Long Range Planning Report  - (attached) After discussion of the report, Barnett Carthey made the motion to accept the report as presented.  Beth Bodkin seconded; the motion carried.
Action: The Building Committee will convene and present suggested ideas for church facilities expansion to the parish with a reasonable amount of time for a response.  The Committee will present an action plan for parish feed back at the June 2010 meeting of the vestry.

The Rector’s Report - Fr. Paul furnished a written report (attached) in which he mentioned
a. The success of Bishop Harrison’s visit on May 2nd.  
b. A proposed a special teaching session concerning the spiritual effects of combat to be presented by Chaplain Peter Bauer on August 18th.  
c. Following the above teaching session with a healing Eucharist on August 19th.  
d. A workshop entitled “God and Money” to be presented by Carolyn Ezell, a former parishioner.  The suggested date is Sunday, September 12th and would be combined with a pot luck luncheon.

The Senior Warden’s Report – There was no report given

The Junior Warden’s Report - Paul Harris informed the vestry that he is continuing to work on having a concrete dumpster pad installed.  It would be 20x14 feet with a 6 inch foundation with rebar on 18 inch centers
