A motion to add the reframing of the letter of formation to the memorial gifts list was made by Roy Smith and seconded by Victor Sanchez. Motion carried.
A resolution for a housing maintence allowance for Fr. Paul was presented by CFO Bill Bodkin. The resolution was approved. (See attachment)
Old Business:
Notes from the last Staff meeting were circulated, discussed and approved.
Rector’s report was presented. See Attachment
Senior Warden had no report.
Junior Warden, Paul Harris, reported he is negotiating a maintence and service agreement for the HVAC system. He also reported that the heating system in the sacristy has been repaired, most of the outside lighting is complete, and he will be working on the labyrinth. He continues to need a usage policy for the church’s facilities by outside groups. The diocese has not responded to requests for guidance.
Beth Bodkin moved that an ad hoc committee be formed to write a usage policy for use of the church’s facilities. It was seconded by Terry Sands and approved without dissent. Scott Clark appointed Paul Harris, Becca Davis and Victor Sanchez to the committee.
Barnett Carthey gave the worship report. He said it was the best diocesan council ever. The worship committee will be working on the Holy Week Schedule. We are still looking for an organist.
Education report: Brooke Gladwin has agreed to head VBS this summer. Barbara Snipes is grooming Brooke as replacement for Education Director.
Fellowship reported that the last leadership and newcomer luncheons were poorly attended.
The outreach report is attached.
Mission Honduras presented their annual report. Although they are working towards stand alone status they will remain an outreach mission of St. Christopher’s.
