Children’s Sunday School:

Classes for children age 5 and up are offered in various classrooms

in our Education Wing.

During the Sunday School hour children ages 3 and 4 are in the nursery

then during our 10:30 service we have a special Sunday School Class just

for them (3 year olds go with Miss Karisse and 4 year olds go with Miss Judy)

During our 10:30 service for children ages 5 - 12, we have Children’s Chapel.

Led out of the Nave by our Children’s Chapel Crucifer, children ages 5 through

12 worship in age appropriate ways using the same liturgical form as being

used by the adults.  Then at the beginning of the Great Thanksgiving (communion) they are led back into the Nave to join their families and to be received at the Lord’s Table.

Children who have not yet completed the First Communion class are welcome

at the altar rail.  They receive “a taste of the feast to come” in the form of a

gold fish and a blessing.
